"Pat Walker's Phacelia Fields"

In July, some fields near me turned the most beautiful Purple colour. My farming friend, Pat, explained to me that she was planting Phacelia in the fields which she was using as a natural soil conditioner. This lovely plant smells hoppy and round, and makes the fields look like lavendar from afar.
